Privacy & Accessibility

How we handle your information, and who this site is built for.

Two things worth stating plainly: what we do with anything you share through this site, and how hard we're working to make it usable by everyone who visits.

Privacy policy

We collect less than you'd think, and we don't sell any of it.

This policy covers stratare.com: what we collect when you visit or write to us, why, and what say you have over it.

Who we are

Strata Real Estate Alliance (“Strata,” “we,” “us”) operates stratare.com. Questions about this policy, or about any information we hold on you, go to hello at stratare dot com.

What we collect

What you give us directly. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you write to us.

What's collected automatically. Our hosting provider logs standard technical data for every visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is used for security and to understand what's getting used on the site. We do not currently run any analytics software. If we add a traffic-analytics tool later, we'll name it here first.

How we use it

To reply to you, to run and secure the site, and to see which pages are actually useful so we can improve them. That's the whole list. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles from it.

Cookies and similar technology

This site uses very few cookies, and none for advertising or cross-site tracking. The likely sources are the web fonts we license, which can set a small technical cookie to deliver typefaces correctly, and our hosting provider, which uses functional cookies to process the contact form securely.

Third parties we work with

  • Netlify hosts the site and processes contact-form submissions.
  • Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts deliver the site's typefaces.
  • An analytics provider, if and when one is added would provide aggregated, anonymized traffic reporting only.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, to anyone, for any reason.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages as long as needed to respond and follow up, generally no more than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we're required to keep it longer.

Your choices

Email hello at stratare dot com anytime to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We'll respond within 10 business days.

Children

This site is built for town leaders, investors, and business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date above whenever this policy changes and post the new version here. We won't make a material change without a clear notice on this page.

Accessibility statement

We want this site to work for everyone who visits it.

Our commitment

Strata advises places that are working to be more welcoming to more people. We hold this site to the same standard. Our goal is for stratare.com to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control, or a keyboard alone.

The standard we're building toward

We're building toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure web accessibility. This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time certification. Accessibility is part of how we review every page, not an afterthought once a page is built.

What's already built in

  • Motion respects your settings. If your system is set to reduce motion, this site's animated elements load in statically instead of animating.
  • Real structure, not just styling. Proper heading levels, landmark regions, and semantic HTML, rather than generic elements styled to look like headings or buttons.
  • Contrast checked against our palette. Text and background color combinations across the petrol, bone, and copper palette are checked for readability.
  • Keyboard access throughout, including the menu and the contact form.
  • Descriptive alt text on images.

Where we're still working

Accessibility is a practice, not a finish line. We're actively watching two things: that our duotone photography still reads clearly for low-vision visitors, and that every content or design update, especially anything touching our custom web fonts, gets re-checked rather than assumed fine.

Tell us what you find

If something on this site doesn't work for you, we want to know. Email hello at stratare dot com with the page and the issue, and what device or assistive technology you were using. We'll respond within 5 business days and treat it as a priority fix.
